Land in Dubrovnik and the trip starts. We'll take the scenic coastal drive to Kotor, with bay views along the way to get you in the mood.
We'll sit down together in Kotor for a welcome dinner built around local flavors. Come hungry, meet your fellow travelers, and ease into the week.
Today we're out on the water, cruising the Bay of Kotor past dramatic mountain walls and small coastal villages. Expect plenty of stops to wander, snap photos, and soak it all in.
Next we'll stop at the Blue Cave, where the water is clear enough to see straight to the bottom and the light turns everything blue. Bring your swimsuit and take a dip.
We'll stop at Nudo Winery for a tasting of local wines with traditional snacks. Pull up a seat, pass the plates around, and swap stories with the group.
We'll raft the Tara River, known as the Tear of Europe, with a traditional lunch along the way. The water runs crystal clear through the deepest canyon in Europe, so look up between paddle strokes.
We clip in and climb the Via Ferrata, with Montenegro's mountains all around us. It's a good push for anyone who likes a little height, and we'll cheer each other on the whole way up.
We'll spend the day hiking Durmitor, with high alpine trails and wide-open views at every turn. Lace up, bring your energy, and settle into a good group pace.
We fly across the Tara canyon on a zipline, with the river far below and the whole group cheering from the platform. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
We'll hop on e-bikes with a local guide and ride the trails of Durmitor National Park. The motors take care of the climbs, so you can look around and enjoy the ride.
We're rolling up our sleeves for a hands-on pastry-making class with local bakers. Afterward we'll sit down to taste traditional specialties, including the ones we made ourselves.
We'll saddle up for a horseback ride through the Montenegrin highlands, with local guides leading the way on quiet forest and meadow trails. No experience needed, just a willingness to slow down and let the horses set the pace.
We'll take a boat through Skadar Lake National Park, gliding past reed beds, lily pads, and the birds that call the lake home. Bring binoculars if you have them, and keep an eye out for pelicans.
We'll go canyoning in Međurečje, working our way through the canyon's rock walls and clear water together. Wear something you don't mind getting wet.
We'll spend the afternoon in the Old Town of Bar, poking around the ruins, lanes, and landmarks at our own pace. Bring a camera and your curiosity.
Lunch is a Montenegrin classic: ćevapi, grilled and served the way locals eat them. We'll share a long midday meal and give the group a chance to refuel.
The day belongs to Ulcinj's beaches. We'll spend it in the sun and the Adriatic, with time for a long swim, a good book, or a game of beach volleyball with the group.
